The Quiraing on Isle of Skye, Scotland

This is hike is very popular and for good reasons. There are spectacular views everywhere on the trail and there is a high probability you will see an awesome rainbow or two. We did this hike mid-week in early September and it was very busy. Get there early for a good parking spot as the large parking lot fills up quickly. The lot was full at 12:00 where we arrived but we found some roadside parking that didn’t require too much effort to get to the trailhead. There are no toilets or facilities of any kind at the trailhead parking so plan accordingly. While only 4.2 miles in length (loop route) it is somewhat challenging due to wet footing and mud in some areas. There is also a robust 1000ft of elevation gain. It is a must do hike on the Isle of Skye. Probably the best of the hikes we did on the Isle of Sky.

Trailhead Parking Location: JPH5+7G, Portree IV51 9LB, United Kingdom

Total elevation gain/loss 1340ft
